Fanzine and new english CFG

In fact, I liked this fanzine, I think contains are very interesting and those had good quality information. One of them, I liked part of ¨learning Japanese¨. I didn´t know that Japanese institutes and Japanese cultural Institute was in Santiago. That is so interesting for me, because I think me, being Korean living in Chile, we don´t have that kind of institutes for Chilean peoples. Our society is more closed to local peoples. Someday I will visit those institutes and learn something.

I think CFG for learning English will help watching movie without subtitles. Because I almost use that method in my own Korean class. Maybe the difference is we watch kind´s movie. Because they are so young. We could watch some kind of movie having relation with our study.

The Future

There´s Korean old saying, ¨the life is not a game, that´s only experience¨.

I think that old saying is 100% true. Because, I just having 26 years, I truly understood that ward moving and living in many countries different until now, in fact, I lived to adapt in different situations and I just kept it doing. Now, I imagine my 10 years later, I could be in another continent, maybe in Europe or some part of Asia. In case of my occupation, as like Simon, I am thinking being an architecture until now, and I would like to be a designer. But my life is not a game, it will be a full of experience as like an old saying. I can´t imagine how many opportunities I am having or I will have in short time of my life. So, I am looking my life quests ¨be an architecture¨ first. And then, I really want a live in a calm, to some other persons, it sounds so boring. But my life until now was so hard, even it was my intentions. Now I just want a live in a calm with my families. And in 10 years, I hope to achieve that and I will achieve it no matter what.

The how? I don´t know until now. I am searching the ways how can I get that calm moments. But I know that is important, have experience, That is it.

Long Weekend

In last week, I had a cold, I had a headache and fever. So I had medicine every day until Friday night, I even won´t eat food, because I smelted some food and I felt it disgusted, I only drank water and some kind of teas.  But in Saturday morning, I felt my cold was gone. And I started to eat food, because I felt hungry. And on Saturday and Sunday I went to the church(evangelical chruch) with my friends, because we are preparing ¨Praise Night¨ that is a kind of worship looks like a Hillsong´s worship. I went to the church to take a worship and practice many songs. We are 17 members, we have instrument section, vocal section and dancer section.

So I sang a song very much and my throat is totally destroyed again, like a before  what I had a cold xD, so I am still drinking many water and teas for get better my throat, thanks to the god , I am no longer have a cold.

After all practice, we went to the Japanese restaurant for a dinner. We very enjoyed and sheared that moment. I really love my members :=)

A Classmate's blog

The great travel for all the countries, first edition: France

Summer would be a good station to go, or winter. With the change of station, in summer (Winter

Long weekend and Korean school

My long weekend began with the mobilizations of student from university and canceled the class, so for me it wasn't long weekend, just was a extension days of the standstill. but I really had a great weekend. I work as a Korean school's teacher every weekend, I teach Korean for the second generation Korean kids, born in Chile for helping to know our culture and language. This weekend we did mini bazaar inside of the school, to teach them the idea of the market, how it works? and the most important was to impress the recycling life of the objects, thing that for me is not necessary, for someone it really is.

They has a really good time, when we started the bazaar to giving the instruction, the kids were distracted, they didn't know organize each other, in the pass of the time finally they understood the system and the kids sold everything they brought. 

I think it was a very good experience for they, to know of the cycling system of the consume objects and learn make decision to put the price, offer the discount, to choose the thing they think is necessary. After that every kids go back to each house with the full shopping bag, explaining me the gifts they brought for their family, was so adorable what they told me and i was proud to be organized this time with the Children.

Starcraft, My first CD in my life.

my first CD was a game CD, it called Starcraft. when i was young, like 11 years (around of 1999), at that time, the trends and the wave of PC game in Korea. the Starcraft was a leader of that wave at that time, i could find Cyber room, (that called PC Bang, which mean PC Room) every 50 m in my village, there are many people's playing PC Game.

i think it was by that social atmosphere, at that time, E - Sports recently grew up making new category in Sports. obviously my friends loved to play games too, for that atmosphere, my friends and me played a lots of time in tha PC Bang. 

and i started to ask my mom and dad to buy me Starcratf CD to play in my house. obviously, my parents doesn't bought it for me, so i started to earn money to have it. finally i bought it saving money like 4 months. i still have it in my Korean house. and i am very fanatic fan of Starcraft series, because that series launched up at past year 2015. i am saving money to buy it in a short time. :) 

Sam Gyeop Sal, My favorite Korean dish.

I will write about my favorite food. I love to eat Korean Food, obviously being Korean, i already customized to eat them. like 7 years ago, government of Korea had a slogan ¨Globalization Korean Food" and already used about SEVENTY MILLON (oh what a stupidest thing) for marketing and another foolish things. obviously the result was NOTHING. I really can't understand this government. Stupid politician.

However, the most favorite Korean i like is a Sam Gyeop Sal, which dish looks like very similar to Barbeque. it's piece of Pork on grill cooking instantly, you can it with many kind of vegetables like lettuce, sesame leaf accompanied by soy sauces and chili sauces.

to take this dish, i go to the restaurant which name is "Sukine" in Patronato. that is famous Korean restaurant in Chile. there's are many Chilean peoples and Chienese peoples, almost are just a bit of Koreans. i recommens you guys to go there and taste some Korean dishes. Bul Go Gi and Bi Bim Bap are good dishes too, they are looks like very strange at first look. but taste very good.

i love Sam Gyop Sal dish, because i like to eat every kind of meats on a grill. as i as fall in love when ate Argentine Asado. how amazing memories jaja.

Heundae, Busa. my memorable place

Today i will write about beaches where i visited and memorable in all my life.

is the Heundae beach, that beach is in Busan, South Korea. i went that beach with my family like 4 years ago when i visited my country. that beach is almost all Koreans go there to be a relax in summer time. it seems like Viña del Mar to Chilean people. there are many restaurant around of the beach coast and white sands welcome you. you have many choose of food to lunch, dinner and a lots of snacks to enjoy in Busan beach. in those foods, i like Seed Honey Hotteok, that is like a pancake, with many seed with honey inside of pancake, that is most popular snack in Busan.

And if you visit Busan in autumn season, you can enjoy Busan International Film Festival. you can see all kind of movies of all nations, like Hollywood movie, Independent film, Animation, Art film, etc. that festival has incremented to very important film festival in Asia.

i recommand you guys when you have opportunity to visit South Korea, to go Busan beach, you have many things you can enjoy in that place include many places i couldn't post. :)

North Europe - New Industrial Era

A country where i would like to visit is all country of North Europe. Like Denmark, Sweden, Norway etc. because I saw and heard amazing urban ecofriendly system and big innovation architecture design in many internet architecture page and programs of television. Those countries are very innovate to invent, search and advanced new technology to no generate damage to nature.

I just want a see those innovations how applicate on urban design and architecture design, that´s why, in 21th century, the ecofriendly system will dominate all area, from industry area until consumer’s room. So will go North Europe to learn those strategy to how applicate them and how realize idea to create to real thing.

 Another thing important, we are in a transition of new era of revolution industrial. Which means, the revolution of electronics, IT and automated production´s era is already gone, we are in era of cyber physical systems world. Explain easier, the internet, people can manage a lots of things with wifi net and can control all those things with simple touch of cellphone or computer. for example, one people can control all kind of things of department or industrial factory with just one cellphone because there are already automatic machines and now we got innovation technology to control them without limit if we are with internet.

I would like to applicate it in architecture design, I don´t know how jajaja but I will investigate more about this 4^th revolution industrial and ecofriendly system. And I think to know those new systems, is important to visit North Europe and Germany, (Germany is a leader of 4^th revolution industrial).

if i can go there someday, i will go alone. that is more confortable to investigate :p

London Eye - My new bucket list

The place where I choose was the London Eye. It is situated on the south bank of the river Thames, opposite the house of parliament. The cost was about 25 pound. When I saw the night view on the top of the London Eye, I thought I have to go there no matter what. And I hope to go there with my girlfriends (XD) and share special experience of my life. Maybe It will be very short time or boring time, because it is just turn and turn making circle. But never mine, I have to go there in any time of my life. I will write that place in my bucket list of travel 

Sendai Mediatheque, Toyo Ito

I being Korean, (as you know, many people of Korea hate japan because of the history, we were colony of japan in 2^nd world war) love Japanese style modern architecture, they are very simple, minimalist and focused on functional. About Korean modern architecture shortly, they are even developed enough, they are focused on just design, in the skin of the buildings, it means, Korean modern architecture don´t have philosophy in that, it´s very sorrowful and upset for me.  When I looked for first time Japanese modern architecture I just fall in love (?)  They had philosophy, emotional, story of neighbours of the place, etc..

In that blends, I´m going to talk about the Sendai Mediatheque of Toyo Ito. I knew it when i had a 8^th semester, in architecture design class. It´s a multimedia center in Sendai with the intentions of designing a transparent cultural media center that is supported by a unique system to allow complete visibility and transparency to the surrounding community, the building talk to us the visible communication.

It has nine transparent tubes organizing all building, it designed to support in case of earthquake and the unify he programs of each levels visually. The peoples of 3th level, can see that are they doing the peoples of 4^th and 2^nd levels peoples, the tubes permits visual communication. In 4 of them, has the vertical circulation with stairs and elevator, they allows to see activates of all users in every levels of the building.

1^st level is totally free form, the users can access in everywhere as they want,  obviously, the program of 1^st level are public program, like cafeteria, small stores, book store etc..

The local peoples think about it very friendly that building because it show to the people perfectly what function is it and how the people use to it. I think, being architect, the most important thing is this, the communication with the local peoples and the users which will use the buildings.

In the architecture design class, I marked 6.5 taking reference with this proyect. It was very successful.:)

3D Ilusion Street Art

When I saw this paint, I was very impressed and loved it, because the paint was very creative and they give me much ideas. The painter´s name is Edgar Mueller. He is 3D illusionist street painter. He just draw paint in the urban space. He draw his paint in the boring space, like a street, residual space, unusual space etc. he try to makes those spaces be come to more interactive and community place. That’s a reason what I like his works. In the contemporary city, we have a lots of residual space and fully street without identification. No have identification means which space is No Name (in my theory). We being architectures that will be our works. But Muller resolve it in other way. I think it is very simple (in cost and time of intervention) and works immediately to passersby and give a new identification to neighbor of that space.

He use 3D dimension and ability to trick the eyes of passersby. He use special projection which called ANAMORPHOSIS to create 3D illusion in the street. I think it’s the same technical what the architectures uses. Just we (architectures) use the 3D in the real space, but they use it in the 2D.

They are many artist of 3D ilusion street painter. Eduardo Rorelo, an Argentinian artist, Julian Beever, an English artist, etc.

I think this technical paint will used to be more efficient with some commercial propaganda. Even the Coca-Cola and Dunkin Donut done it with Beever´s work.

Visit to Fukuoka, Japan.

I will write about my favorite pictures today.

I already wrote (I think) what I am South Korean, I lived 13 years and then I came to South America. I almost visit to Korea like every 2 or 3 years. So, I am missing my family every days, (specially the food what my mom makes to me).

The last year, I visited my country. I was so happy and I proposed to my family to travel another country to wide my experience and to make good memories with my family. We had many candidate, China, Japan, Spain, Italia, etc… in those candidates, I wanted to go Japan, because I love Japanese Architectures and there’s philosophy, like Sou Fujimoto, Tadao Ando and Toyo Ito.

So, we go to the Japan (The cost was more chipper then another countries, I think it was for that reason, in that time, Japanese money was very chipper for ABENOMICS). So we went to FUKUOKA, Japan. Which site with many nature thermal spring. My parents love that. So our first importance of chose hotel was, Be near of thermal spring.

In the hotel, we could wear Japanese traditional cloths and take some experience of Japanese traditional room style. they were 2 beds and traditional japanese living, i forgot the name (i think it was Tatami, i´m not sure), they sit in that floor with nothing.

And we visited to Kumamoto Castle. That was big castle fully Japanese style. I impressed whit those curves and purification style, I felt Minimalism in that castle (the Korean Castle are with many ornament and very colorful).   There’s my picture with my family.

Gyeongbokgung, Seoul, Korea

Almost we went to the market which located near of Kumamoto Castle. We had opportunity to buy some gifts and souvenirs. I bought Japanese style chopsticks. I like use it. And we ate Traditional Japanese dish there looks like looks so pure and concise, there was delicious, but it was very salty in same time. I ate them with 4 cups of water. I’m not sure of the traditional dish is salty or the chef who made it lost his tongue and lost his taste feel. The dish was not fulfilling.

We stayed 4 days in Japan. In those time, we know many place, many people and many Japanese culture. I really impressed about a difference between Korean Culture and Japanese Culture. Before the visit to japan, I thought the culture will be similar or no many difference. But it was totally another country with Korea. The peoples are very calm and quite, every street we visited was very clean and no garbage in there. Maybe that place is touristic place, but being touristic place, in Korea or another country I visited, they were many or less garbage in the street. I really surprised with that.

If I had another opportunity to visit to Japan, I will go to know Tokyo, the capital of Japan to know the difference with Fukuoka

A Special Place in Santiago: Costanera Center, a biggest Shopping Mall in Chile

This is my first post in my life in Blog. I think this will be a good experience for all of my life.

I´d like to present new place today it called Costaner Center.

This place, more than place, this is a name of Shopping Mall in Providencia commune next to Mapocho River in corner with Nueva Tobalaba Street and Andres Bello Avenue. This shopping mall is a tallest tower in South America, it has 300m of altitude with equipment of office, hotel, shopping mall and a viewpoint in last floor.

I often go this place for shopping, see a movie, have a dinner and take a time with my friends or with my girlfriend. In last Saturday, I went with my girlfriend to buy new boots or shoes, something to gift it for my girlfriend witch day was quarter anniversary of our relationship. I bought high heels for her. She loved it. She said it will use when she go to the party or some important events.

But I don´t like to go this place, because, there are many people every time I go, I really feel uncomfortable in place where are many peoples crash shoulder to shoulder. And this place is totally built for a commercial purpose, there are no architecture, no respect a context Costaner Center is take up the place brutally unaware, no respond to people who work there or who use that place, there are no rest place in all building for workers and customers, no respect a culture it has the place, witch means many musicians or artist look that place for new opportunity to show those performance, but the design is not good to be enough that culture.

Whatever, we have no chose. That is already built and it is working until now and for many time.
